No fluff, no AI gimmicks. Just the tools that help you find your edge and stick to it.
Every fill counted properly — same-day round trips, multi-fill positions, open and closed kept apart. Realized P&L to the cent, plus win rate, profit factor, expectancy, drawdown and hold time.
Write your rules once and tick a pre-market checklist each morning. Risk limits (max trades, max loss, losses in a row, size) are checked against your real fills. A discipline map shows every trading day at a glance.
"3 of your 5 worst days had Disrespected Stop." Tag each trade's setup, execution and psychology, then see which tags show up when you lose, your win rate with and without each one, and what every costly habit cost you.
One entry per day: your rules answer next to every risk limit checked against the day's fills, tags and notes on each trade, and a chart of every trade — two minutes at the close.
Upload your year-to-date export once, then drop in each day's CSV after the close — step-by-step export instructions for each broker are built in, and uploading the same fills twice never doubles anything. Read-only broker auto-sync is coming soon.
Month and year views with every day colored by result and weekly totals. Click a day to see its fills, chart, notes and journal in one place.
Calls vs puts, premium paid per contract, contracts per trade, how far your winners and losers move on the premium, and P&L by days to expiry, 0DTE included.
A clean, square card of any trading day or week — P&L, win rate, best trades, a bar for every day — for Discord, X or your community. Free accounts can make them too.

Upload your year-to-date CSV once, then each day's CSV after trading — step-by-step export instructions for every supported broker are built in. Read-only broker auto-sync is coming soon.
Put your rules and risk limits on the Rules tab. Each evening, answer "Did I follow my rules?" and tag the trades: setup, execution, psychology. Two minutes.
After a couple of weeks, Reports → Patterns tells you in plain sentences which habits cost you money — and your discipline map shows whether you're fixing them.
The calendar, trade log and recap cards are free with no card required. The full journal is one price with no tiers and no upsells.

No. Upload your year-to-date CSV once, then add the day's CSV after each session — that's the whole routine, and your broker login never touches our servers. A read-only auto-sync (it would see your fills and nothing else, never place trades, and could be disconnected any time) is coming soon for the full journal.
Interactive Brokers (Flex Query), Charles Schwab, Robinhood, moomoo and Tradovate (futures) are read automatically, and Tastytrade or any other broker's CSV imports after you confirm the columns once. The app shows you exactly where each broker's export is. Tradovate's file has no commissions, so Tradovate P&L shows before fees. Missing your broker? Tell us: brokers get added in the order they're asked for. The Scalpers Journal is independent and not affiliated with any of these brokerages.
Yes — that's specifically what it's built for. Sub-5-minute holds, multiple round trips per day on the same contract, accounting that handles all of it correctly. Most journals were built for swing traders; this one wasn't. Reports → Options breaks your trades down the way an options trader thinks: calls vs puts, premium paid, contracts per trade, and P&L by days to expiry, 0DTE included.
Yes. There's a separate Portfolio tab for long-term shares and ETFs, with sector breakdown and allocation charts. The journal handles both intraday trading and longer-term positions.
You can export everything as JSON at any time, even before subscribing. If you cancel, your data stays in your account in case you come back, and you can request a full export or deletion whenever you want.
Free accounts get the P&L calendar, the trade log and the daily + weekly recap cards for your whole trade history, with no card on file and no time limit. The full journal adds the dashboard with your Scalper Score, the daily journal with notes and tags, rules, reports and portfolio. Everything you upload is stored either way, so nothing is lost if you upgrade later.
The Scalpers Journal is built for traders who take this seriously — people whose monthly P&L is measured in thousands, not lunch money. At that level, a journal that helps you stop one bad habit pays for itself in the first week. We'd rather charge a fair price and stay independent than chase volume with a $10 tier full of upsells.
The free plan is the trial — use it as long as you like. If you upgrade and it's not for you in your first week, email us and we'll refund you in full — no questions, no forms.
Free to start. Upload a file and you'll have a P&L calendar in a minute.
